Chronic Illness Management with Joelle
My Approach
Living with a chronic illness isn’t just physical—it impacts your emotional, mental, and social world too. This work focuses on helping you navigate all of it: the stress, the uncertainty, the identity shifts, and the day-to-day management.
I combine practical tools with space to actually process what you’re dealing with. That includes coping with symptoms, managing anxiety and low mood, setting boundaries, navigating relationships, and adjusting to changes in work, energy, and lifestyle.
My approach also includes chronic pain management, using trauma-informed techniques to help reduce pain reactivity, calm the nervous system, and change how pain is experienced over time.
Personal Context
What draws me to working with those with chronic illness is my own lived experience with Ulcerative Colitis and Endometriosis, which helps inform a more grounded, realistic approach to this work.
My Workbook
Managing Personal, Emotional, and Social Aspects of Chronic Illness: A Workbook was created as a practical “first resource”—something you can start using right away without needing to commit to ongoing sessions. Chronic illness often comes with financial strain, so the goal in creating this workbook was to offer accessible, structured tools that can save you time, energy, and money while still making meaningful progress.

If you’re dealing with fatigue, flares, or overwhelm, shorter 30-minute sessions are available.
